Hi All,

I have a situation here, filled the application in SEP 2014 expected to receive the AOR by 20th Jan 2015 (as per the Sep tracker), now I am in India and had filled the application from India only.

Situation here – I am going to Netherlands mid Jan 2015 (for project work possible for year)

Questions -
1. Do I need to Inform CIO about my movement from India to Netherlands now or after getting my AOR?
2. How to go ahead with Police verification? Should I complete the police verification before moving to Netherlands, what I understood that I need to get police verification done from India NOT Netherlands, please suggest?
3. Is there any specific document format we need to follow for the police verification (done in India)?
4. Medical can be done from Netherlands (once I get the request to CIO)?

Thanks

You need to provide police clearance certificates for ALL countries (except Canada) you have lived in since the age of 18, at the time you apply. You definitely need to provide for India, and everyone will tell you it is easier to get while you are in India than from abroad. Since you applied in September, I'm shocked that you haven't already obtained this....

Whether CIC will require one for the Netherlands - it is not initially required (if you never lived there before you applied), but it is subject to their decision, meaning they could request one later.
