PLEASE SHARE CAUSES OF DELAY MANITOBA PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM APPLICANTS

Hi Guys,

I am starting this new thread here for everyone who has submitted their MPNP (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program) applications to MANITOBA CANADA in the YEAR of 2011 and 2012 (ALL GENEARAL AND FAMILY STREAM APPLICANTS) .I am assuming no one really knows what to expect or the timeline in receiving the LOA(Letter of Approval) from MPNP. So, it would be great if all those who have submitted their documents under MPNP to Manitoba, and Facing the Delay of Application Can share their Timeline and Experiances HERE.


It's been 11 months passed today and no response from mpnp after AOR

Please sugess If anyone has professional level of experiance or knowledge.that what step I should take now. I would really Appreciate the Help

In my case, I submitted IELTS, bank statements with my application and made sure that all required documents are submitted because when they ask for additional docs it takes another 2-3months before they check your file again same goes for CIO applications...

Also, some case officers are fast as compared to some others (some officers might go on holiday or sick leave would make things slow) ...

they also implemented a new rule while my application was with MPNP office which wasnt in place when I submitted my application also delayed my application .. the rule being "Applicants who meet all criteria may be refused based solely on their connection to another Canadian province. (Ex: You have family who live in a city outside Manitoba, you’ve lived, worked or studied or are currently working or studying in a different Canadian province.)" I lived in another province before applying .


I submitted my application in Nov 2011 and got LOA in Sept 2012 GS stream

I Don't have relatives or friends in another provinces in canada but i updated my application couple of times without their request. I submitted some additional documents without their request.again i am going to update my application soon with spouse IELTS. It is not required but I am polishing my Application as much as I can. You may correct with the officers point. I also thinks that It depend on the opinion or mood of CO (case officer). and you please sugess me what should i do

Dear Gat,

This is confirming what I posted to you in MPNP 2012 thread. Your continous update of your documents that supposed to be submitted once is the course of the delay. You were not communicated to submit additional documents, but you taught it better to add more documentation to improve your case. This is not good enough. It distort the application processes.

My advice to you is this. Don't send your spouse IELTS to MPNP as you have indicated you intend to do. This will further delay your case. Emphasis is not placed on spouse's IELTS during submission. If you have added it before the initial submission, then it becomes a plus. Adding it now will delay further your case. Please be guided.

My current profile status shows I am a FSW1 applicant, but I have also applied for MPNP since September, 2012 & awaiting AOR. I was clearly informed of this procedure before submission hence I have earlier responded to you in this way. I am well informed.

please share if anyone facing the delays of the Application and I also I would Strongly encourage seniors if anyone has Any Information the causes of delay in MPNP Application. Advices would be Appreciated.

got letter frm. delhi embassy on 10 nov.2012 to wait for six months.not to contact embassy for six months ....but now 8 months have been cross but not got any responce frm delhi embassy.......

Application posted nov 2012, I only got a reference number when I called in, sponsor yet to be interviewed! Application falls under the general stream. The questions are; how do I check for updates since my application is a paper application and how do I submit additional new documents like school certificates and all?
