In my 2nd AOR i was asked to contact the Visa Office directly after 18 months, if i do not hear from them. Right now at the moment i have ordered Caip notes and discovered my file is being processed by a french speaker and he knows just nothing about the process. He asked me for police certificate in USA when i attended only a conference for a few days and also asked me for a police certificate for London when he saw international certification that i took the exams in my home town. In a nutshell he is so confused with the file since he reads and speaks French and my docs are in English. I notice this as most of the comments were written in French in the Caips notes , but good enough i can read in french.

Ok my application is at Abidjan visa office and processing has been suspended for the meantime because of the political situation in Abidjan. They have directed all additional documents and Case specific inquires to be sent to Dakar, My question is does it mean processing will be taking place in Dakar Senegal? I am so confused.

My 18th month is March and my BF'D date was 22.1.2011, Does it mean that they looked at my file on the 22.01.2011? I am planning to send them a Case specific inquiry.

Hi,

If they have asked to sent all documents to Dakar then it is highly likely that your file has been transfered to that office and they will process it now. Send the case specific inquiry to that new office and see what they reply. Yes BF date means the next date when visa officer will review your file but 22.01.11 is already gone so send the case specific enquiry to Dakar VO.

A note to the OP of course the VO is French speaking as most of the VOs are in countries where french is the language.

Thanks very much for the advice. I will send them the case specific inquiry and see what they will say.
Saki i sent full documents in June 2009. I have been waiting for medicals for all these time. I am sure it is because of the confusion he has created in my file that i am being delayed.
