U do not somewhat look like u want to live in India. I mean 10 years in Hongkong. Then its been just 2 years and you are applying for Canada. I am talking from VO's perspective. For u, its very hard to prove that u will return back after the course. But if u have applied, good luck bro. But still keep yourself familiar with the other side too.

if u have 10+ years of experience why do u want to do diploma try for express entry PR directly that may be easier. This is just my opinion why waste so much money on education when u can get PR easily through express entry. very few benefits for international students in express entry.

Thanks mead and hardy

Mead :

i cannot apply for express entry as i m experienced but lack of qualification certificate as i have only completed 12th commerce ..

I m going for studying to enhance my knowledge and skill and get degree so that i can reach to high post ,

Hi, although the chances for your visa are 50-50 but i will suggest that you should explain everything in the SOP.

This is correct -- let your SOP show that you understand your personal educational and work history, the course you are applying to do, and how it will change your prospects. Discuss how you lived in Hong Kong and worked successfully in an international environment; and that you need some sort of formal qualification, like this thing from Seneca, to advance yourself. It should be very specific, and not depend upon generalities. Above all, do not write anything about 'dream to study in Canada' or 'will never overstay visa and obviously return home'. Don't worry about the fact that you are 30 with extensive work experience -- those should be turned to advantages.

thanks you experts i will right everything true and genuine ..

But one thing confusing me chances of visa 50-50 due to gap ..

does gap creates an problem for student visa please advise .

No, the gap means nothing -- what matters is that the program you want to do makes sense with your history. Since you were working during your 'gap', it needs to fit with your work. That, and the program needs to make sense if you return to India as well.

thank on hold ..

YEs i was working as a international marketing manager and my course is international business management .. which includes finance maketing management everything ..

I might not go back to india i might go back to hongkong or china to work again with that degree please advise shall i mention this in sop or not .. and i can get the letter from my x company that i will be hired from them with good designation after having higher qualification degree because i have been working 10 years for them..

so the door will be open for me .

Waiting for your more light on this topic and thanks for clearing the confusion for me .. of gap ..

What is it that you want EXPERTS to advise?

"please let me know the chances of getting visa approved my age is 30 and single"

Chance of visa does not depend on age or marital status.

The college will look at these things and decide whether to accept you or not. If they accept you, then it is your job to explain to the Visa Officer why the course of study fits with your life, how it will benefit you, and how you will use it (outside of Canada) once you have finished. There are no experts -- there is you, your history, and your SOP.

Dear On hold

thanks for your kind reply ..

I got your point that in SOP i have to be very specific that what benefits of this course to me .. outside canada and how it will help me . where is can use along with my experience .

Thanks for your kind support .. i treat everyone experts because suggestion getting from all will help us so its is called us experts suggestion .
