What is the possibility to be called for an interview, taking in consideration the new processing time and regulation? Also, What would be the probabilites to be called for an interview if you applied in your home country instead of your country of residence?

Thank you.

what are the probability of tossing a coin to get head or a tail, and how many flips you have to make to get 50/50. Simple rule, Quality control. Anytime someone or an entity put a new matrix in place, the rules will be followed "my assumptions that the Immigration officers will go under training". So who is forcing this quality control or matrix the person who does the due diligence.

Well I would think that if all that you have stated in your application is backed by solid documentary evidence, the chances of being called for an interview would be very much diminished.

I am sure its still possible. Remember its 6 to 12 months for those that have all the papers in place and everything happen smoothly. 12months is definately not a hard upper bound so they will call you for an interview if they need one.

I am sure this happened many times before Feb so I can't see why this won't happen after the new rules. I am also sure that you can move your interview to your country of residence if a visa office exist there or if an interviewer exists there. I have read somewhere before of Bangladeshis being expected to go to Singapore for interview (or visa versa) so it can happen.
Interviews are only held by the office where the application was submitted. Visa officer's travel to countries in that offices jurisdiction to contact interviews.
