Hi to everyone , I'm looking for an answer to the following question : I have enough points to be a skilled worker but due to my financial situation and to the point of my carreer I was thinking to retire or at least to take some time without working once I arrive in Canada as an immigrant ( I have not the possibility to enter as an investeur because I have not the right work experience ). My question is : if I'm in Canada as a skilled worker but I don't work and live on my own money will there be prolems with the immigration or at the moment to become a Canadian citizen ?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
If you become a PR as a skilled worker, once you are in, nobody is checking if you work or if you work in your field. When I came in, I had a problem finding a job in my field, was not working for a while and eventually changed fields. They do ask though when you are applying for PR renewal card or citizenship what you've been doing for the past x years but I don't know if they do anything with that info. As far as I know, there is no requirement to have a job to be able to become a citizen.
