Hello to you.
I'm new at the forum and i have a question:
We've opened an immigration file back in may 2007 in Tel Aviv -Israel through skilled worker program but till now no one contacted us from the canadian embassy.Everything seems to be stucked.Sometimes i have the felling that we will never reach our goal .It's very frustrating.
Please advice us what to do.

Yes, I agree it's a very sad thing and unfair what is happening with the immigration system. The more recent you applied the soonest you get into process basing on the excuse that they want to cover firstly the current needs of the Canadian labor market. Many people who applied 2008 and back are on hold for so long and they don't have a certain answer on if and when they are going to get a visa.
What could I suggest to an applicant in this situation? What is your noc? Maybe if your noc will be in the new list of July you should apply again. Or maybe look for other ways to go there under different type of visa until they process your file? Otherwise the only thing you can do is to wait, hoping that they are going to work on their backlog during '11-'12. Have you ordered caips?
