Well if you carry it in you suitcase but if they go through a random check you will have difficulty explaining what it is

By law you are only allowed to carry medication for yourself. It's possible the medication could be seized by customs once you reach Canada and you could also be fined.

@preet ji,

It is always advisable to have a hassle free landing. Carrying of prescribed/not prescribed drugs meant for some one els's consumption shall be a deliberate attempt to invite trouble for urself.

Other forum members have very correctly advised u in this regard. Please take note of it.

Good luck nd May God bless all !!!

It's best to avoid this and excuse yourself politely. Remember you want a hassle free landing free from tension. And the authorities always warn against carrying some one else's luggage.

Hi,

NEED HELP!

Me and my wife are both accounting professionals, holding ACCA and CGA, CPA Canada designations with an IELTS band score of 8.5.

I have work experience of 3+ years but I do not have any work experience in Canada. We are planning to come to Edmonton. Could you please give me an insight for the following:

1. Availability of accounting jobs in Edmonton for new comers (ready to take up job of any level.. no issues to even start from the entry level position)

2. Availability of part time survival jobs (odd jobs) in Edmonton till I can secure a job in my own field

3. Cost of living for me and my wife in Edmonton. How much fund should I be bringing to stay safe?

4. How long it may take to secure a) a job in my own field b) a part time survival \ odd job?

Awaiting your response! Thanks
