Ok we went to take sponsorship picture today and asked 8 photos but been told we only need two. How many pictures needed. Please reply.

Who told you two . Check your country spec to check again . I know for a europe application you need 8

Just checked your spouse is a Brit you need 8 they do not need to be dated or signed .

If I change my last name to married name. Do I need to change my citizenship card name too? Or is it ok to keep that one as it is.

If you haven"t changed to your married name stay as you are. When i got divorced i was able to change every thing really simply. My passport, citizen card , drivers lience health card. Your maiden name in Canada is always your name so you don't have to pay to change it at all. I haven't changed a thing. The only thing i did was do my taxes as married.

You can of course your a Canadian . Its easy to change i went to my local MP office and they sent it off for me . I carry two passports and they know as soon as i go through customs. Sometimes they ask me for both. I wouldn't worry about it as long as your passport is changed because if you book air line tickets they have to match the ticket holder name.
