Hi All,

Need some urgent advice

I applied my canada visitor visa online for which I got an approval today(i.e request for passport)

In form IMM5257,for question#9 'Country where applying' ,I filled that as 'Canada' instead of USA(Country of Residence)

Please advise what is the best way to contact CIC to correct this issue.

I am not sure if I have to apply again or can this be corrected?

Please help asap

Wow congrats..! You should send an explanation latter about the mistake, with your passport. Can you share ur timeline with us.? I mean, when did you applied?

Applied on Jan 14th 2014....Got passport request today (Jan 21st)...

I think because of this IMM5257 mistake they approved within one week...
