Thanks man. So I guess I shouldn't underline, highlight or just mark my salary deposits and transfers to my dad for making it easy for CIC to see?

CIC gets tons of paperwork like yours and mine every hour. They know what to look in your transaction better than you and me.

No tampering.

Full Bank statements, not missing a single page/transaction. Compress. Upload.

Explanation can be done in LOE, highlight as much as you want in that!!

Thanks a ton man. When it comes to finances, my instincts don't always give me the best feedback. I got it.

Well,,,,the process is very stressful,,,,if you fail,,,u r no different than a person who hasn't started at all,,,,its either 0% or 100%. But I'm preparing myself for negative outcome. I remember a comment on this forum I read a while ago,,,,Some of us who don't get selected will look back after 20 years and feel I'm glad it happened that way otherwise I would not be as happy as I'm now,,,,God is great,,,I hope he is listening to my prayers,,,,And all the best to you too buddy,,,You have been extremely helpful.

No problemo! But you shouldn't be thinking negatively. If you follow the instructions clearly given by CIC, there is 100% chance of success. I agree with your 0% and 100% theory.

But I am certain, God won't push us back when we worked hard and deserved our Canadian dream. Come on, you got an ITA because you are a deserving, solid candidate. Canada needs people like you (hopefully me as well).

Relax, and go for it. PPR is coming faster than you think.

Hi all,

I'm going to send my documents to be considered for Ontario Human Capital Stream program. Here is what has been asked for proof of funds in the official guide:

Settlement Funds: All applicants must possess sufficient funds and/or income to cover settlement costs in Ontario. Funds must be unencumbered, readily transferable in a convertible currency, and supported by bank statements.
and here

Bank account outside of Canada
If you do not have a personal bank account in Canada, you must provide six months of original up-to-date bank statements from a recognized financial institution. The bank statements must:
 Demonstrate a personal account standing / final balance that meets or exceeds the LICO; AND
 Include the following details:
o Your name;
o Account number;
o Transit and institution number;
o Account balance; and
o Currency.
I've got the needed funds from my father and got a letter from the bank(couldn't attach the link or pic).It has all the needed info except that it shows only remaining balance in local currency and american dollars and not a 6 month statement since this account has not been active during the last few years and It is the only occasion since I could easily get the letter from the bank and then I removed the money and gave it back since in my country we don't let this much money to stay untouched in the bank and we use it in the business. However I don't want to play scams and at the end I'll bring that amount to Canada.

So, do you think is it enough for them to have this letter from bank plus a letter from my dad that this is a gift? If so, what makes my dad's letter official? I'm really confused. I'll appreciate if you can give me the possible options. Thanks

Do I need to show transfers sent by me deposited in my father's bank account? i.e. show entries in my father's passbook because of money sent by me? or just entries in my statement will be enough? Do I need to show my dad's bank statement too?
