applied on 12 file recieved at chandigarh on 14th and still under process. all i can do all day is to check d status. lol. dont think i will get the visa very cmplicated case.

10th 86 % icse 2002
12th 74 % isc 2004
diploma in business from london: 6 months 2005 a grade
higher diploma in business from london 2006 and 2007 a grade
professional diploma in e business jan 2008 till dec 2008 a grade in london
jan 2009 till june 2010 worked for bskyb ltd. in london
back in india in july 2010 was working with father in family business

ielts score 8 bands overall in sept 2011
course : pg certificate in international business management 1 year.
fees paid $12100
loan 7 lakhs against fd from axis bank

problems:
1)changed my name in 2009 all eduation docs r on old name, legal documents of name change attched with application
2) had history of pneumonia in 2002 so it might show scar in chest x ray
3) gap after education
4) one of the colleges i pursued diploma in london has ceased trading.

you will get visa bro. you will definately get it. Make a clear cut SOP. You are back to your home country after your studies in Uk and you will be back again after your studies in canada. just show this to them.

I xyz is applying for study visa to pursue post graduate certificate in International Business Management offered by Mohawk College because I want gain international exposure, skills and experience at a higher level which I think will be helpful in expanding my family business which I have been part of for last 2 years. Businesses operate in a very dynamic environment today. Increasing globalization has impacted economic activity across countries. India’s economy is integrating into the world economy and is growing rapidly. This is throwing up new challenges to business and industry. In order to understand these trends and their impact, it is necessary for me to have a strong academic foundation in international business and management. I am interested to develop my understanding of functional areas of international business, management theories and practices.

A post graduate cert program in International Business Management would help me to achieve my objective. I feel that to excel in this competitive environment, I must acquire in-depth knowledge how international trade works. A strong theoretical foundation along with practical implications would enable me to make correct business decisions.. It would also help me to get international exposure and develop a broad outlook. After this course I would take the operational control in my family business (which I have to inherit and look after anyways being the only son of my parents) later on when I return to my country, which is offering exciting opportunities.

I have been an above average student in school. Along with academics I had keen in sports. My interest in sports has shaped my thinking and personality. Concentration on my efforts, consistency through practice and the importance of team work are the values I have learnt. Sports have given me an increased sense of responsibility and my achievements have increased my self-esteem.

Previously I have studied in England for higher diploma in Business and professional diploma in E-Business and worked in British sky broadcasting Ltd. in a marketing role. After that I have moved to India and decided to practically implement my learning experiences as a student and a worker in my family business which in return has in return shown positive impact on business by increasing productivity, improving quality of service. I also introduced the use of e-commerce in business using internet tools to increase sales and reduce pressure on traditional business activities. My future plans include expanding our operations in overseas territories for which I feel the need further sharpening of my skills to emerge as a successful entrepreneur.

I have chosen Mohawk college over several other options available to me. Mohawk college is reputed for excellent teaching and research methodology. The courses are well structured and a wide choice of courses is available to the students. The faculty is recognized worldwide. The facilities provided to the students are excellent. Moreover, Canada warmly welcomes international students, providing them with an intellectually stimulating environment.
