I suffered from Lung TB four years ago which shows in my x-ray as some scar. I have applied for student Visa for Jan intake in Lambton College. I had done upfront medicals for the same and I told the doctor that I had had TB. I did not submit my medical papers and prescriptions though (I now think it was stupid of me not to do that, but in my defense, the nurse said I did not need to).
I understand that I will get back another medical test with a set of tests from visa office if my visa is to be considered. I did a little research and found that the tests take around 3 months to complete. I am completely cured now, had taken medicines for 1 year and have all my discharge summary and other prescriptions of the time. My doctor who treated me, also gave me certificate that I am good.
My questions:
1. will the second set of tests really take 3 months?
2. Can I submit my medical documents and medication prescription and all the documents in the second medical and will it have any affect?
3. Will they maybe, have any other tests which completes in a month or less, maybe?
Because if 3 month test is the only option, I will miss my Jan intake classes.
Please help!!
