PLEASE HELP........ Study Permit Application Refused

Hello People,

I would need your advice on what to do and how best I can repackage my application. I was refused on June 2nd for 4 ticked reasons which are:


You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including:

-Travel history
-Family ties in Canada and in country of residence
-Purpose of visit
-Personal assets and financial status.

I have never travelled before outside my home country(Nigeria), I have a job here at home as an IT officer where I also stated in my SOP that I will return after my Diploma program.
The purpose of Visit is for studies which I clearly stated.
Then my bank statement was what I presented to show my financial status.
I am single and 27yrs. I graduated with a BSc. in computer science in 2009 and I have been working. I do not have any gaps.
I stated that I would be back to my Job in my SOP which I felt could suffice as home ties

Please help me with some ideas on how best I can go about re-applying. This will be much appreciated.

bro, y did you go for a diploma instead of a degree? I assume that you are a graduate, if yes then i believe that was real reason. On your finances, who did you state would be sponsoring you? Did you get a letter from your employers that your job will be there for you upon your return? I assume that this was absent.

As an aside,how many days did it take them to respond to you?

I chose diploma because it was more hands-on as i felt. I am a graduate. My brother was to be my sponsor, yes I did get the letter from my employers stating that my job will be waiting for me upon return. it took 7weeks(online route). Please whats ur further advice?

You should apply a master degree at least. This is because you have a degree... That's why they think that you are not a genius student.
If you really want to study, you will choose a higher education level. Diploma or certificate course for high school students or just graduated from high school. You need to look for other course, and then get an acceptance letter. Try apply again.

whts ur score in Ielts? and is ur brother(sponsor) in Canada?
