But 90 days from the date of my application signature or 90 days from the letter that they put on my returning application?
What makes you so certain about this period of 90 days?

When CIC receive your application, they will compare the date you SIGNED your application (and the residency calculator) to the date on the day they actually receive the physical file of your application from the post office service or any courrier service you use. If the difference is 90 days is more, your application will be considered "stale-dated" and will be returned to you. See below link, Question 10.

Hello!!

I sent my application for Citizenship in October but yesterday my application was returned to me!!
They did not accept my "Proof of Language Proficiency".(I sent them my college degree)

Now, I have another document that I can send for them instead(My IELTS test) .

I want to know if I have to send along a new application with a new calculator and new fee receipt??

Please please help me.

My situation was the same as yours, I submitted my application last august 12 and got the returned application on October 10 due to unacceptable languange proof. On December 08, i resubmitted my application in my case as it was more than 3 months already i filled out a a brand new application signed with the current date. there is also one question on the first page of the form if you applied citizenship in the past. i updated that answer to "yes" and the year " 2014".

I think it doesnt hurt to fill out a new application just attached a letter of explanation and also attach the letter they sent you.
