Please help Regaring TRV

Dear Experts,
Any help, information or further reading regarding my situation would be much appreciated
My 2nd Time TRV(tourist) application refused for the two reason
1. Purpose of visit
2. Personal assets and financial status.
I have B1/B2 USA visa, valid Schengen visa and a strong travel history including USA and other European countries. I am a business person and show them C$ 15000 bank statement and property and shares documents.

I am from Pakistan my age 38 and I apply Tourist visa for New-year celebration in tornado and apply online 1 December 2015.

Hi Rizwan,

Ideally, you should have prepared a more *solid* purpose of visit with a day-to-day itinerary.... and not just for New Years celebrations.


For how many days did you wish to visit?
Did you submit an invitation letter/host documents?
Did you borrow any of the CAD 15,000? Was this amount in your personal bank account or business account?
What documents did you submit for your business?
What documents did you submit for your property ownership? Do you own it alone?
What other ties do you have to Pakistan..... family, other responsibilities/commitments?

Dear Bryanna

1. Just 5 Days after that I have to travel New York and spend there 12 days.
2.No I don’t have any host in Canada, just give them hotel booking for 5 days.
3. In TRV Application I write CAD 7500 for this Trip, yes it’s my Personal Savings Account .
4. National Tax Number Certificate, Chamber of Commerce Member Ship Certificate. Chamber of Commerce Member Ship Card. Bank Account Proprietorship Certificate, Visa Request on Business Letterhead, 2013 and 2014 Income tax returns.
5. yes I have to properties in my name ,i attached Property Sale Deeds and Registries & also attached rental Deed of my Properties and payment cheques copies which I received every month in shape of rent .
6. in Family information form I mention
My wife here in Pakistan with me.
My Parents Live with me and my two brothers (married)
I am self-Employ & ruing my own IT business in Pakistan, my company registered since 2002.

Hi Rizwan,

Perhaps, it appeared unusual for you to want to visit Canada/US for New Year's alone ie without your wife. It could have also helped to prepare a detailed day-by-day itinerary (like a typical tourist) instead of just saying *you want to visit for New Years celebrations*.

Another reason for your TRV refusal could be that you did not present your business ties well. Self-employment may not work favorably if you do not present your other ties properly.


Some missing documents as I see it are:
1. Tickets for Canada-NY and provisional flight tickets from NY to Pakistan + proof of intending to visit NY for 12 days (email invites from friends, hotel bookings, broad itinerary, etc)

2. No proofs that your business is actively trading (company bank statements for 12 months, audit statement by a CA, proofs of taxes paid for running your business, proofs of orders/work contracts including projects you must return to, customer contact list, etc)

3. Property valuation done a CA + other proofs of current market rates. If there's no mortgage then you should highlight this fact.

4. Proofs of financial investments, locked-in or available for your visit + Credit cards

5. Family ties (if you can prove your parents are dependent on you for their finances/well-being. As your married brothers also live with you/your parents, this tie may not be very convincing)

6. Proofs of a *must return by date* or some other commitments/responsibilities

7. Travel history (the visa officer may not go through your passport to figure out entry/exit dates)


I suggest you do not reapply for some months. When you reapply, you must present your case + evidence/explanations well. IMO you have a good chance of getting a TRV

Hi Bryanna! Appreciate your time and effort in answering all our inquiries. One of the documents that I'll be submitting to CIC is Article of Incorporation which shows that I am a part-owner of the company. Do I need to submit an existing purchase order? I already secured an employment certification provided by our president and grant me a leave of absences for almost 3 weeks.

You're welcome

A suggestion: You must state amounts in both PKR and CAD when you prepare your application/explanations.

I have 1.5 million shares investment and a lot of credits cards, is it value able to attached?

You can show the shares as investments.... do calculate the market value of your shares on the date you apply + submit photocopies of the share certificates + any dividend stubs (if you earn dividends). This will show a better financial situation.

Credit Cards: Do you use it purely as plastic money? Are your credit card dues low but you have high credit spending limits?


Also prepare an Explanation: My Financial Situation in my Home Country.... in this, prepare a table with separate sections (with reference numbers for your evidence) for your income + rental income + property valuation + shares' valuations and dividends + bank term deposits/mutual funds + jewelry as investments (self-assessment).... and another table for typical monthly expenses

Proofs that your parents live at the same address as yourself + expenses incurred for your parents (medical expenses/insurance/household expenses, etc)

Do you have flight tickets for Amsterdam? Email invites from friends/hotel bookings?


Must-return-by-date (with evidence): For example, project deadline, wedding in your immediate family, or even scheduled surgery on an immediate family member

ANS[/b]: No I don’t use every time credit cards and mostly credit card limits are fully available.

Ans: Yes my itinerary will like that Lahore Pakistan to Toronto , Toronto to New York , & from New York to Amsterdam & Amsterdam to Lahore Pakistan. Yes I have in business event in Amsterdam and my hotel book there.

Q. how much fund I write in TRV Application for manage this trip (in my last TRV Application I was write C$7500).

Q : what u sugest to me online application or Papers base, which one is fast and best ?

Hi Rizwan,

Credit cards: You must submit the most recent 2-3 months statements + state you will bring these cards for your visit

Do prepare a Covering Letter.... stating the reasons for refusal + how you have addressed it + state your itinerary (with evidence). What's your new purpose of visit now that New Years is over?

CAD 7,500 will not be sufficient for your round trip flight tickets + hotel bookings for YYZ/NY/AMS + travel/food/sightseeing expenses. Unofficial guide: You must show at least CAD 1,000 per week of visit (but this is if you're only visiting Canada).

Online/Paper: Average processing time for Islamabad VO is 97 days currently

i am asking funds only for Canada visit for 1 week only while my ticket and hotel already paid by credit card.

My new purpose of visit now to spend summers vacation only for 5 days.

Hi,

Your itinerary includes the US and Holland (flight, hotel and other expenses) and not just Canada + you already have a valid US B1/B2 and Schengen visa (you are not applying for these countries after you get a TRV).... the visa officer will consider CAD 7,500 for the entire round trip itinerary and NOT just for the Canada leg.

Even if you buy flight tickets/hotels using credit cards, your bank statements must be able to cover these payments. CAD 7,500 is not sufficient for your intended round trip. Hence, the refusal reason for finances.

Please do not apply until your financial situation improves to support this round trip.


When you reapply, you must prepare a detailed day-by-day itinerary (activities/places you will visit) with expense estimates.... and prove you have the finances without borrowing
