Please help regarding the IELTS score and NOC Code

Hi,
I got 6.5 in ielts and just wondering if i am eligible under NOC A (2171)
Reading 5.5
Listening 6
Writing 6
Speaking 8

My second question is My job title is Quality Assurance Anlayst III, and my JOB TITLE is listed under the NOC A 2171, however most of my duties are under NOC B 2283,

So which would be the best for me as i am a Level 3 is it good to apply under NOC A which meets my title or NOC B which has all of my job duties.

You are eligible for both NOC A and NOC B jobs. I would go with which one that fits your job duties the best. Good Luck.

So, will there be any issue with my Job title as its says in all my employment letter as Quality Assurance Analyst III (level 3) position and applying under the Noc B, or do you suggest me to apply under NOC A.

Matching job duties are more important than matching job titles. Since both position that you are thinking about (NOC A & B) allows you to apply for PR, that's why I said go with the one that fits your duties the best.

Reading : 5.5
Writing : 6
Speaking: 7.5

Overall : 6.5

Am I eligible to apply PR for NOC : A, job code: 2173 under Canadian experience class ?
 
HI, As per my knowlegde i thing you would are eligible as i received the same scores and same answer from the other members on this forum.

here are the CLB scores for you IELTS scores

L 6 = CLB 7
R 5.5 = CLB 6
W 6 = CLB 7
S 7.5 = CLB more then 8 which is very good,

and to be eligible for NOC A, you should be good as you have a CLB scores of 8,7,7 and 6... HOPE THIS HELPS

Please make sure to go with the 2283. Your IELTS score would not work for Skill A.

THis is not good ofr SKill Level A or O. need to re-take the exam. sorry

now all sould have CLB 7 minimum

No your scores are too low, you need at least a score of 6 (CLB 7) on all four categories according to the new rule in effect since January 2nd, 2013. You would've been eligible if you were to applied last year.
