please help regarding proof of funds

hello everyone...please I need help.
I want to apply for canada student visa under general category for September intake.
I want to know which is better option for proof of funds.....gic or bank loan ???



and can someone please explain the loan process to cover up living expenses....like what to be mentioned on loan letter and how much time it will take for loan sanction?

gic is good and easy, there are no chances of visa refusal based on proof of funds, if you have bought a gic. and afterall money stays with us only.
