Hello all my friends here on the forum,
I am wondering how I should write my study plan - probably the most frustrating part of applying for a study permit to most of us. I know what I should include in my essay though, but what is the usual length of a study plan? I've been writing in a very detailed way, and it's now around 1300 words - 3 full pages. Will this be too lengthy? I've outlined
How did you guys write your study plan? Sincerely I appreciate your feedback and advice, and I look forward to hearing from you.

- my background;
- why I want to do the programme to which I'm admitted, what it can offer me to excel;
- my lifetime career goal, and how this degree will help me to achieve it;
- what my prospect back home will be getting the degree;
- my intention to return home immediately after the studies, since I need to take care of my parents
- why I wish to study in Canada but not in where I'm from;
- the comparison between similar programmes of study in my country and those in Canada - why the Canadian one stood out while those back home didn't; and
- my family ties in where I'm from: my parents and relatives live there, and I have a fully established network of friends back home (I'm just a fresh university graduate - I don't have properties in my name, nor a wife or a child).
How did you guys write your study plan? Sincerely I appreciate your feedback and advice, and I look forward to hearing from you.
