Hello, I have a question regarding the effect of student loans. I'll be applying to study in Canada next year and I want to take a loan in my home country so that I would be able to finance my studies and living expenses! My bank offers easy options for students who want to continue their studies abroad!
But I was wondering, if I have a student loan and I was accepted into the study program, does this lowers the chance of me getting a student visa (it will be regarded as a liability and a risk), or does this amplifies my "ties to my home country" (it will be regarded as a responsibility and therefor the student will have to come back to his home country to pay back his debt)? Or it doesn't even matter to the immigration office?
I appreciate your help and time
