PLEASE HELP!!! Question about how to calculate family income.

Hi all,

I want to sponsor my parents to immigrant Canada, and I married in July 2016. so how do they calculate 2015's income. Do they only count my personal income or family income? because in 2015, I was not married.

My best guess if you want to sponsor now 2017 will be needed.
Below is the table for parents sponsorship, don't forget to count yourself in it + any other cosigned you did in the past:-

I think now it's closed. I have to wait until Jan 2019 to enter the pool. so if I apply in 2019, which 3 years are needed? 2016, 2017, 2018 or 2015, 2016, 2017, as 2018's NOTICE OF ACCESSMENT will not be available in Jan 2019

I don't know too much about Parents sponsorship. . But I think if they need past 3 years; as a rule if U apply rt now you would submit 2015,16,17.
And if you wait that's different story then.

It will be 17,16,15 because, as you correctly point out, there will be no '18 NOA available at the time of application.

If so, this gonna be a problem for me, because in 2015, I was not married. I wonder how do they calculate family income. Do they still include my wife's income even if we hadn't get married at that time?
