Depends on "how recently" you went home and whether your previous experience was "skilled" (i guess I'm assuming you worked in Canada before). You would need 12 full months of skilled employment within 36 months of the date of your application. So if any of your previous experience were skilled and still fell within the 36 month window (by the time you complete your additional 1 year), then you could add that.johnny123 said:Hi guys,
due to refusal of LMO I had to go back home. I plan to apply for IEC 2013 under Young Professionals (I have a job offer), and after 12 months apply for CEC.

My question is - If I get a work permit valid for 1 year, it is impossible that I start working on the very same day of landing, so I will lack a few days to complete 12 months.
Otherwise, you would have to find a way to get a new work permit.
