Hi,

I can't seem to find the option where we specify how much money will we be bringing to Canada in the online Express Entry profile.

I submitted my Express Entry profile but I want to reduce the amount of money I specified in the online application. I remember putting 30K or something. Or does it even matter how much I write in the online express entry profile?

Thanks!

No, I think frightenedpanda means the section of the profile itself where you enter the amount... I can't remember where it is in the Express Entry profile, but in the electronic application for permanent residency )(eAPR) (the one you submit after you get the ITA), it's under the Personal Information section, right before you provide details of all of your family members (parents, siblings and children) who aren't accompanying you...

It matters how much you write, in so far as you need to ensure whatever you wrote is over the threshold (which it is, otherwise your profile would have been ineligible). If you can't find it in your Express Entry profile, you can wait until you get an ITA and then edit the amount in the questionnaire portion of your eAPR (the answers from your profile will carry over but you'll have to review them all again (and add new information)... Just as long as the edited amount is still over the required threshold.

Okay great! This helps. Cos I was looking for the amount to update in the Express Entry profile but it didn't show in any of the sections.
