I dont understand one thing. Since your occupation is not in demand (29 NOC list), how CIO, Sydney will accept your application?

I dont know how Mr. Cohen suggested u that? May be he'll open his complete suggestion after you pay him retainer fees.

It is clearly mentioned on CIC website that if you do not fall in any of the occupation listed, you r not eligible to apply under FSW.

You can try to get AEO if you have any source in Canada

See, its like spinning a coin.... You may get points for your masters or you may not.... You have not attended classes so, as per the rule you should not get any point but, its VO discretion, I have seen in some cases he did award the points for correspondence courses.

If you follow OP6 then you should not get points

What I suggest you here is, try to score 67 without considering points for your masters degree. Even if you are able to score 65 or 66 then, you can take chance on the basis of your masters degree which is a correspondence course and VO may consider it for 1 or 2 points.

What is your occupation?
What is ur IELTS score in individual section?
What is your total no. of experience?
and Are you married? if so, then what is your spouse's educational background?

dear tarakrs!
my occupation is computer science teacher
planning to appear for IELTS within a month or twice
i have total 4 yrs of exp.
i am married n my husband is a Mech.Eng(15 yrs exp. in Oil & Gas)

if i keep my qualification as Grad its not matching with exp. i have exp. in computers not in science subject
i got that job based on my MCA n PG Diploma in computers. so that my grad is no way related to my profession.
please clarify..

See in either case you will have to take chances.

First of all you need to decide under what category are you planning to apply?

FSW is no longer available for your as I said before. The reason is 0213 and 4131 are removed from NOC list on 26 June 2010.

What Cohen has suggested for QSW?

See for you or your husband there is no Occupation listed under FSW so, you'll have to think something else

after i checked my eligibility on Cohen's site the next day i got mail(may be automatically generated) saying that i have a pg degree and exp. in teaching so i am eligible for QSW n i can proceed by accepting to his agreement (link is given) in that his prices n times are given
i went through the link n just ignored it.
Cohen's service is very expensive. i have not come to any conclusion about his offer.
first i want to every possible chance to do it without much expenses
i dont have much exposure to the possible chances for that i chose this forum to know more about

whts your option if u r in my place...
plz respond
thanks alot for your cooperation n instant clarifications
i am amazed to have such helpful people out there..
u mentioned to think something else... what that 'else' could be??

Hi anjali,

Can I ask you few questions.

Q1> Why do you want to goto Canada (Please No offence)?
Q2> Can you not apply as a student?
Q3> How about making your husband as the Principal Applicant?
Q4> Do you have a plan B in place?
Q5> What is your current Residence?
There is a Consultant in Chandigarh I am hearing about on this forum who is very good.
