Did you send it with some sort of delivery confirmation?
When a person sends an application, they need to know two things:
1. That CIC has received the application. This is confirmed if you used delivery confirmation.
2. That the application is deemed to be complete, meaning that all required forms and documents, per the Document Checklist, are included in the application and all forms are the latest version, as well as all required signatures are in place. If that is verified, CIC is suppose to send an AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt).
The problem is that CIC isn't very consistent in sending the AOR. This leaves many applicants wondering (worrying) that their application is NOT complete and that everything is going to be returned to them. If CIC were to fix this inconsistency, it would make life easier for so many people.
