If you don't have money for the plane ticket, Canada will cover the costs.

I would recommend you post to the Refugee section of the forum for the request of your questions:

Big question is if you are leaving within 30 days of denial and departure order ? What are your chances for future re-entry in any temporary or permanent category ?

With a failed refugee claim, the chances of a temporary visa being approved in the future are likely nil.

No impact on immigrating however. A failed refugee claim doesn't prevent you from applying and being approved (provided you qualify and are honest about your immigration history in Canada).

If you let Canada immigration pay your costs for you, you should read this: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/fees/imm/gen/removal.asp

If you want to return to Canada later, you will have to pay these costs back.

Another way to get the money may be to borrow from family or friends or you could go to your country embassy and without telling them that you applied for asylum here say you are stranded and ask for a loan to return home.

If you have a lawyer, your lawyer should be figuring out if there are any other ways for you to stay. If you own a business or property in Canada, this would not be considered a main point as you can manage it from outside Canada or sell it. A grown son on a study permit is not considered a main point either. Most international students come to Canada to study without their parents.

Your only option for staying in Canada is your federal court application and / or H&C. If those fail you will definitely have to leave Canada.

Once you are outside of Canada, you can certainly apply to return to Canada if you qualify to apply through one of Canada's economic immigration programs (you would also have to go through the ARC process as a failed refugee claimant). But all of this would have to be done from outside of Canada (including waiting for the application to be processed).

But again, if the federal court appeal fails and the H&C appeal fails - you have to leave. There are no options that would allow you to stay.

If you choose to speak with a lawyer, you might consider contacting the law firm that provides this website. Just click on the CANADAVISA.com logo at the top, left of the page for their contact information.

Good luck!
