Please help me with right direction.... so much confused

I got Passport request for me any spouse on 28th of April. My lawyer emailed CIC on 30th of April to request stamping of visa at local CIC office for my husband in India. On 21th of May I my lawyer sent 2nd email to CIC for update. The last date of passport submission is 28th of May. But have not got any reply back from CIC yet. My lawyer do not want me to send my passport to CIC until get response back from CIC . I'm totally confused, what should I do at this point.
1) Should I wait for response back, or sent my passport without my lawyer approval. ?
2) I moved from another province to Ontario and did not update my address on file. All the communications from CIC comes to my lawyer address so when I send cic my passport should i provide them my lawyer’s address to send it back.
3) If I change my address today, and send my passport on new address on Monday. Will they send back on new address?

Hi,

Do not change the address at this point. Send your passport via your lawyer and let them receive it back after the stamping.

Regarding your husband -stamping visa change to local do not send the passport till you receive mail from CIC. You should have send remainder mail after waiting 02 weeks from passport request, nevertheless send a reminder mail and also Call CIC agent. They will extend another 30 days period for passport submission if any request for office change for visa stamping. - Means- After they change to Delhi and notify you there will be another 30 days .
