Please help me with basic info - WES, IELTS

Hello All,

I am from India and I am trying to gather basic info for initial steps in getting Canada PR. Please help with this....
1. I tried to create account in WES for assessment of my credentials. Here which type of application should I
choose - WES standard application or ECA application for IRCC?
2. I have a B.E degree and M.E degree, should I get both degrees assessed by WES or just Master's degree only?
3. I tried to register for IELTS exam, here which type should I choose - Academic or General Training?

1. i think the answer is in front of you
2. they give you 2 for the same price. i only did master's (but it was from the US) and it worked fine, but if you can manage, get both. my agent suggested i get both.
3. GT- that answer too is very clearly written on the IRCC website.

Thanks for the response. Do we need to get assessment for higher secondary education also? I am pursuing my Ph.D, anything to be done for this also?

i don't think you can get WES for it until you complete it. remember the bulk of points come from experience and IELTS.

1. ECA application for IRCC.
2. You have to send both; to evaluate your masters they require to see your bachelor degree as well, though you only can claim crs points for your highest credentials which is masters. 10th and 12th grade is not necessary but you will see wes asking you to enter those credentials, just ignore.
3. for immigration purpose you always need to do IELTS General Training. To get extra 50 points you should try to achieve 8777 on LRWS respectively in IELTS exam.

actually i didn't get a bachelors evaluation. only masters, but my Masters is from the USA.

Hi, anyone in this forum from Tamilnadu? I want to know how to proceed with Bharathiar University and Anna University to send consolidated mark sheets to WES.
