Please the expert on this forum and the those applicant please help me.
MY boyfriend or the love my life is in INDIA.

We want to get marry. But we are thinking should he apply as express entry individual or should we get marry and apply for Spousal sponsorship

I am confuse that should i try to bring him via express entry or by spouse open work permit or spousal sponsorship.

He has done MBA and have 5 years of experience. He has also achieved CFA level one and work as Business Analyst in an IT company

I calculated his score via CRS tool he is scoring 461. Although now i am afraid as new changes in CRS tool and US new politics situation can impact his chances in Express Entry.

I am on permanent residency and i want to be with him ASAP
can any one suggest me what option i should chose . and the the pros and cons of each option and chances of success in each option and also the application whole process time

I will really appreciate if any will help me this

We can't make the decision for you, but if I was in your situation I'd just get married first and then sponsor my partner as my spouse.

Why? Because if he has a lower score and get rejected for whatever reason, and after that you two get married and you do the sponsorship, then there's a chance that they will think he married you just because he wanted to move to Canada for whatever the reason is.

But whether going with in-land or out-land sponsorship is up to you.

To me best option would be:

1) Yes get married and then sponsor your spouse outland.
2) Relationship proofs must be comprehensive to prove that you are in deep conjugal relationship.
3) Don't rush....complete all formalities meticulously including engagement, wedding, honeymoon and so on...keep record of all evidences...

Good luck!

i agree with above two posts, as you have indicated that you are from India, try to get married in traditional Indian way, and at same time go to Sub registrar office and get marriage certificate (file combination of traditional and legal evidence), in that way you should have less trouble

if you go the route of have been dating for a while, submitting communication proof, in my point of view its okay but lots of work

I agree that the best option is what Hasan has mentioned.

But in order do the whole traditional marriage would require time of preparations. Then the whole application process could take about 10+ months. So, a total could be between 12-24months. Now, he can apply for visit visa while the spousal application is being processed. But then he won't be able to work while he's here (if he's approved at all to visit). Outland is always the better/faster option than the inland but you'll have to possibly stay separated for a while.

Now, if I'm not mistaken express entries are processed somewhere around 6 months. You can still start with the marriage preparations in the meantime. If he gets denied, it won't be a big problem later on when applying for spousal applications. My wife was denied twice (study and visit) in the same year before we got married. Our application was processed in about 11 months without any issues or documents requested. It's how you present yourself.

You have to decide if you want to wait the longer term for him to be here permanently (go get married in the meantime) or take chances with express entry (spend a little extra money).

I'd say get married. No income requirement. You just have to make sure you're not a criminal which I'm sure you're not, not taking any benefits and the relationship is genuine. Have a traditional Indian wedding, make sure all the documents are genuine and you'll be good to go. Canada wants people to come to their country and their main aim at the moment is to re unite families. That is their top priority. so :D :D :D

Yes I agree with you guys, just do as they suggeste you,I'm also happy to hear that Canada main priority now is to unite family
