Hi Guys,
I have got property worth of 2.5million and im gonna sell it and show ma funds for student permit. Wat ma question is, do i still keep the money in the bank for 4 months?

how long does it take to get the admission from the university/college.

Im 26 years old now, soon after my A/L I started doing computer courses and I did a Diploma and Advanced diploma in the UK. Since i have got a long career in IT will they refuse my visa?

Yes, you will have to keep it at least 4 months in the Bank Account. BUT, property is one of the biggest home-ties that helps you get visa for Canada.. Do you have another Home-tie which you can provide to VO..??

Colleges - Usually 2 - 4 weeks
Universities - Usually 1 - 4 months

By specific to the previous educational / employment field and you will not face any issue. Other than that, study missmatch will be the rejection reason..

Huge Fixed Deposit in your name for long terms, leaving wife back at home country. You are only son to your parents and you will return back to your home country to help them, job that you'll be taking study leave and expect to return back to re-join it after studies etc

Study Miss-Match..
For example, You have done Computer Science and you are going to get admission in MBA, it's a miss-match. IT is different where business is different field. However, in SOP, you can convince VO that CS with MBA is a great combination. It will help me get to managerial level faster etc etc etc.. But the best practice is, select a course that either relates to previous studies or current employment (But it has to be next level, like if you have done Bachelors, go for Masters or Post-Graduate Certificate instead of Diploma)

I was studying In the UK for 3 and half years. My visa was valid only for 3 and half years,I fell sick and couldnt extend my visa on time. So I applied for my visa after one month of overstay. My visa got refused but i submitted all the necessary dos including sick note from my doctor. But I was awarded all the necessary points for my studies and maintenance. So I left UK on my own expenses voluntarily and made a fresh application in my own country. But again they refuse my visa stating that i have overstayed and cant apply to UK visa for a period of 1 year from the date of departure from the UK. What my question is, will this effect the possibility of getting the Canadian visa?

Is there anyone who has experienced such a situation?

Can anyone help me?

No, it will not effect your application. I hope you have valid Medical letter available. You may attach with your application if you feel it will help VO to get a clear picture of you case.
