Any time before12/20 2015 becoming a PR can only be counted at one half day for every full day upto a maximum credit of 1 year so in effect 730 days pre PR to gain 1 year credit.

Use the tool but based on your dates you might be good to go in the next few months when adding pre PR and post PR but as said the tool will give you a precise answer.

Not sure what you mean harmful as that is the official Canada Immigration tool that citizenship applicants are supposed to use as part of their application.

In using it you are not starting any official application, just confirming to yourself whether you qualify or not as opposed to guessing.

Your work permit stay was 670 days after deducting 54 days of your vacation away from Canada (26-Dec'13 to 19-Dec'15 minus 54), so half is 335 .

Then on PR you stayed 755 days as of today (20-Dec'15 to 12-Jan'18).

Total of 335 + 755 = 1090 days, you require 5 more days of stay to be eligible (1095 days will be completed on 17-Jan-2018).

You can apply on 18th Jan.

However I would recommend you to just cross verify on the online tool with your exact dates.

I submitted my tax file for 2013,2014,2015,2016, but if I apply January my citizenship application then I am not able to submit my 2017 tax file still can I apply citizenship

Yes you can apply as 2017 tax returns are expected to be filed after first quarter of 2018.
