Please help me (a Indian student in US on F-1) and my Fiancé ( an Indian holding COPR in India)

My Fiancé just received his passport with the COPR. (August 2018) I am currently studying in the US on an F-1 visa. and still, have two more years to go but would like to get married and be able to do maybe internship in Canada over the summer and the freedom to travel back n forth if needed.
From what I know our options are :

1. Get married before soft landing and add me on his documents for reevaluation of the application.
2. Get married after soft landing and he can either sponsor me Inland/Outland.

I have a few questions.
1. Are there any other options?
2. If he sponsors me (Outland) can both of us fly in and out of Canada until the process is complete?
3. If we opt for getting married before soft landing. What all documents do we need? as we won't be having the wedding until Summer 2019 but we don't mind having a court wedding before that for visa purposes.

I would like to have the option to work in Canada by summer 2019.

1 - If you qualify you can apply based on your own merits.
2 - He cannot sponsor you while living outside of Canada.
3 - Marriage certificate, medicals, PCC, updated POF if applicable, etc.

I can't apply myself yet cause I am completing my undergrad still and have two more years to go.
I meant if he sponsors me while he is in Canada. Would he be able to leave while the application is under process? and how long would that take?

No, he must be living in Canada in order to be a sponsor. 80% of the applications get processed within a year.

How long would he have had to live there to sponsor me?

And also would there be any problem if I travel back and forth to Canda on Tourist Visa while the application is in the process or for him to travel in and out of Canada?
