I am inland applicant (AINP SRS-PNP) and have Open Work Permit .
I submitted my PR application and got AOR

Please, what will happen to my PR-Application if I get laid off or change my job ??!!!

My timeline:
PR application received by CIC on December 2, 2016
got AOR on Feb 16, 2016

Eligibility : Passed ( April 29,2017 )
Criminality : Passed ( April 29,2017 )
Medical : Passed ( April 29,2017 ) upfront medical exam March 7, 2017
Security : Not Started

My nomination certificate has the following detail:-
prov territory/stream: Worker- Without a Job Offer
Employer name: N/A
Restriction of Employment: NO

In your PNP certificate if its saying no employee restriction, then you can switch the Jobs, there wont be any problem. Cheers.
Thank you for replying

Is it OK if I change to a different job ?? ( from level B to level C )

Does not matter what you do as long as your certificate said "Restriction of employment: No "
You can be jobless. You can do whatever job/category you want.

Why don't you contact with AINP?
they will give a correct answer.
BTW, what "Employment restrictions: No" means to you?

In AINP website, it mentions that I must notify AINP for change of employer and An AINP Program Officer will review my file again and determines if he/she will support my nomination or withdraw it.

I saw some posts mention that after medical examination, ainp/cic just check nominee's background only. that means they won't check anything about my job but i'm not sure !?

Hi.. i am a SINP applicant, my work omination has employment restrictions, but I need to change my Job. The officer told me to ask the new employer for job approval and the once I got ot to updated my nomination and if it is approved the my will inform the CIC. I am still waitng for medicals and I was thinking to do it upfront. I applied to PR last september... The only thing missing

hi friend, same situation with you. I called cic they advised me to contact local provincial immigration office to ask them then I did. Lady on the phone advised me that there won't be any issue to change my job or being unemployed, they will not take away my nomination. hope this help.
