I am currently doing my CEC application. I am an Australian Citizen who has lived and worked in Canada since Jan 1 2010 on the WHP. I have always worked full time, and since Oct 1 2011 I have managed a Yoga Studio in Vancouver. I am trying to determine the correct NOC under which my job falls, and I am having a rotten time of it! I am not an instructor/ teacher, but I do handle all of the operations management, scheduling, inventory, ordering, and overseeing customer service at the studio.
Can anyone please help me out with suggestions/ ideas/ anything? This is a HUGE headache and cause of stress for me right now. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!
ETA:
Thank you so much everyone for your help! Super speedy responses.
I was actually thinking it was NOC 0651, but Yoga Studio Manager doesn't appear anywhere in list - or under any other NOC. (I have also done specific term searches for both "yoga" and "studio".)
NOC 0513 also looks close - but again, no exact match.
Does anyone know if a specific match needs to be made or not? ie Could I put "NOC 0651" on application but put my Job Title as "Yoga Studio Manager"?
Or would it be better to put "NOC 0513" and then something like "Manager, Fitness Centre - Yoga Studio".
Again, thanks in advance for advice!
