hello Guys i got my TRv with single entry visa with 6 month validity , i am coming canada with my wife and we are just married , i am working for an IT company as a support engineer with 5 years of experience and my wife is Master in chemistry fresher we want best option to stay in canada... so can you guys please tell me what will be the best option for us

1) do we get working permit with in canada on Trv how easy or hard to get it

2) should i apply study permit for my wife and try to get dependent for myself

3)or As we married in inter-religion so we have problem in our city by parents so can we claim political stay ?

please answer me :-[ :-[ :-[

1) No - you don't get a work permit just because you have a TRV. In order to apply for a work permit, you first need to secure a full time job offer from an employer in Canada. That employer then needs to obtain an approved LMIA (approval to hire you). The LMIA process can easily take 4-6 months with no guarantee of approval. For this reason it's typically very difficult to find employers willing to go through the process. If the LMIA is approved, you can then apply for a closed work permit tied to that specific employer.
2) If you want to apply for a study permit, you should apply from outside of Canada to increase your chances of approval. It's too late for the January term, so the earliest you'd be able to apply is for next May or September. You can apply for a dependent visa for your wife but there is no guarantee it will be approved.
3) This isn't a basis for an asylum claim. If you have a problem with your parents then you can easily move to a different city.

I don't understand your question. TRVs are for visiting Canada - not for working or studying.

If you want to stay, then you need to apply to immigrate. It doesn't sound like you have a strong asylum case, so you need to apply through an economic stream like Express Entry. Detailed information about Canada's immigration programs can be found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

If your main target is to avoid going back home then you can move to any other country. I would suggest looking for a country that does not require visas for people of your citizenship. Most likely they will have easier and quicker options for immigration.

If you insist in Canada then what Scylla has already mentioned sums it all.

Good luck.

There is no quick or easy way to immigrate to Canada. Like previous posters have said, your TRV is simply to VISIT Canada. You cannot work, or study on this visa. Visit the link that was provided to you and see if you qualify for any immigration programs.

Scylla has explained the options available to you.

Two bits of advice:
1. You have been issued only a 6-months TRV. Do not stretch your visit just for the sake of remaining in Canada. It could affect your chances of getting another visa in the future.

2. Asylum would never work in your case. There's nothing stopping you and your wife from moving to another part of the city where you live, or to another city altogether. And, today, inter-religion marriages such as Hindu-Muslim marriages are no big deal in India
