I had applied for business marketing diploma in sheridan college here is my profile
10th 2012 7.4 CGPA
12th 2014 60% marks (commerce) Economics -42 Accountancy -54 Business- 67
Ielts 6.5 overall
L 8 R 6 W 6 S 6
Got refusal and the reason for refusal is stated as other reasons.
Please give suggestions should i apply again or not .....i had applied for caipes notes

My question is will my study gap affect my visa chances in my second attempt
and which course will be suitable 4 me...??

The reason is YOUR PROPOSED STUDY IS NOT REASONABLE IN LIGHT OF YOUR PAST STUDIES, ACADEMIC SCORES OR LANGUAGE ABILITIES

I want to ask, as I studied mas communication and I applied for international business my first application I wasn't refused for course mismatch,bcos when I applied I used only 3documents(Admission letter,school fee receipt payment for one year,and statement of account) I didn't include any supporting document I was refused for
1)travel history
2)purpose of visit
3)family ties
4)not sure I will leave Canada after study.

I have reapplied with with enough supporting documents, with mass comm an international business do u think th embassy don't have any query on that? Or should I have change course?

Hi Farko,

I don't think you will be refused because of the course choice as long as you are able to defend in your SOP that those two programs can help you in advancing your career. I'm also a Communication graduate and also applied for a PG in International Business Management and luckily received PPR today. Good luck on your application

I receive my visa today and It would be worth mentioning that I completed my last degree in year 2001. My visa application was refused twice and took almost 2 months to get approved.

As rightly said by jelie, as long as you can justify in your SOP that the proposed studies is for gaining knowledge relevant to the field you are interested.
