Yes you can use your 2 year diploma, you just may not score high enough. Although your final score is a combination of different things including work experience, ietls, education, age.... and so on.

I know my score is 410.

Age 25 = 110
ECA 4 yr bachelor = 120
IELTS L 8.5 R 7 W 7 S 7.5 = 130
Skill transfer Edu = 25
Skill transfer Exp = 25

Total 410

Use the date when you completed your two year bachelors. I'm assuming this was before March 2015?? In your country, this is when you became qualified and hence you were offered the job for the position of a secondary school teacher.

" Date XYZ first became qualified to practice in this occupation " is generally for more strictly regulated occupations like a Lawyer or a Doctor where there is a regulatory body that ensures your qualification.

Thanks for your answer it helped a lot this is the only work exp I have so I wanted to use it. So by your answer it means mention that level on which you got the job so even if one is doing job after completing 12 yrs of study he can mention that date.

Yes, because that was the qualification based on which your employer hired you. You will receive points for your work experience as long as you can get a reference letter from your employer with all the information CIC needs.

I would suggest that you prepare this letter and provide it to your employer to sign off.
