please help cant get fingerprint link of USA PCC !!!!!1

Friends, I need to have my PCC from US. Has anyone done PCC in USA then please shed some more light on it.
Also how long will it take by VO(visa officer) to request for PCC once application reaches them! Since PCC from US will take 4-6 weeks, is it advisable to start the process now or wait until VO requests for it? Please guide. Thanks!

Hi niknike: I'm in the process of getting mine, starting with fingerprint capture @ the US consulate in my city on Thursday. It's not likely to be ready before the rest of my application is ready to send, so plan is to send application ahead and wait for the VO to request for the PCC when they need it. Good luck!

Any specific reason for doing fingerprinting from US Consulate? We can do it from local police station as well isn'it!! Also any idea how much time VO will provide for submitting PCC after PER? Thanks.

Don't worry about these. I left them empty. Just write last 4 digit of SSN. You don't have FBI No (unless you were arrested), or Armed Forces (unless you were in the US army).

i dont have SSN so i leave it empty ?


also please do i let police officer just sign on paper or they have to stamp it also ?

Aliases means any short forms for these. We don't have that so let's not worry.

My fingerprinting officer signed and stamped. They know the drill, just follow their lead. Sign all the papers - write your name and dob on fingerprint form and you're good to go.

And send it by certified tracking mail so you know they have signed and received it. And you can track by tracking number. Hope that helps

my local police station didt do this form at all before , so do you recommend the stamp at same slot where they have to sign ? as its a small space and is not enough for stamp

or they can simply stamp at bottom boarder of paper?

Local police station where I live produces crappy fingerprints :|.

Accra VO takes 9 months on average.

Two separate finger print forms and two separate application forms. Single form for fee with credit card details.

For Indian PCC, check which jurisdiction your state falls under for Indian Consulates and check their website.
I got mine from NYC consulate. Had to submit original passports, cashier's check and application forms. They returned it in 3 weeks.

Fingerprinting is easy. If u r in the US, then just go to a local police station and have them fingerprint u. My advice is take 3-4 copies, and send them in. They will choose the best and get it done. I made the mistake of sending in 1 card only and unluckily it got rejected. Had to go through the 5 week process again.
If u r in India, Punjab has a credited academy for fingerprinting. Also, delhi has some experts. Please google for other places.

I went to locat police station in my country iraq !

it seems those idiots have never done an FBI fingerprint card in thier lives ?!!!

so they said they will do it for me but they will not sign it ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


the only way the agreed to sign and stamp , is by using their own fingerprint card ??!! is this ok ? can i send instead of FBI fingerprint card?????



the problem is that thier card dosent contain formation like hight , weight ,......ect ?

Friends, Can you please provide your inputs for obtaining India PCC from USA.
I have gathered following information, if applying in person at Indian Consulate. Can you please provide your thoughts on below queries :

1. Forms: (i). fill the Miscellaneous Application form and
(ii). fill the personal particulars performa (3 copies)
2. Supporting docs:
a) Original passport and photocpies of the first five pages and last two pages of the passport.
b) US Visa proof (eg: GC/EAD/Approval notice etc)
c) Current US residence proof (eg: drivers license)
3. Fees. : 25 $ or 45$ ? (money order/cachiers check) in favour of 'Consular General of India'

Doubts:
- do we really need to give our original passports? If yes, will they return the passport at same time.
- how the India PCC looks like..will it be a letter or does any entry goes in our passport too ?
- how soon we can re-collect our passports- do we have to collect in person or will consulate mail them back?
Please let me know if you think anything else is required.Thanks!
