HI all,

Please help me with below problem,

I was sponsored by my husband in 2019 dec we got divorced in 2022 feb, after 8 years of marriage. we had no kids
Now I have decided to remarry, can i marry? as the boy is still in india?
i am aware that i'll not be able to sponsor him till 2024 dec(5 year sponsorship ban), but my questions is

1. since i am Canada with PR and my second husband will be india till 2024 even after marriage, will it be of any concern during sponsorship in 2024?
2. or should i get married after this 5 year sponsorship ban?
3. is there anyway i can at least sponsorship visitor visa during this sponsorship ban?
4. my second husband is 6 years younger to me, will that be of concern to cic for sponsorship, but i really love him and want to marry him?
5. what additional proof can i keep ready for sponsorship apart from below:
marriage certificate,
wedding photos,
travel and trip details,
texts nd call details,
bank transaction?

please guide me

1. It won't be an issue.
2. You can get married anytime as long as it's after you are officially divorced.
3. He can try applying for a TRV (visitor visa) on his own to come to Canada for a visit as a tourist.
4. It shouldn't be an issue provided you have strong proof of relationship.
5. Communication between the two of you.

How many times have you visited in person? How much time have you spent time in person? Would encourage you not to get marriwed if you have only met once in person. IRCC doesn’t really like couples that get married on their first in person meeting even in their second in person meeting if they haven’t spent much time together in person. 6 year age difference isn’t enough to raise red flags but if you are above child bearing age and he has no children that could be a red flag depending on you what culture you belong to, whether you are religiously conservative, etc.

The best way to get over red flags is to spend time as much time together I person leading an everyday life, socializing with others, etc.

Getting a TRV as the spouse of a Canadian PR or citizrn can be quite difficult. Would suggest applying before getting married. It is a tough situation. You need a reason to visit Canada but mentioning you are dating or are engaged to a Canadian PR makes getting a TRV much ore difficult. his ties to India like employment, family ties like dependent children or spouse in India, property ownership, his amount of savings, previous international travel to places like US, UK, Australia NZ, Canada etc. while following al, the immigration rules, etc. does he happen to work at a company with offices in Canada? if so any possibility of a transfer? What is his profession? If he works in a field that is in high demand in Canada he may be able to get a WP.

Hi
Thank you so much for ur reply..

i have not met him in person so far… but we are planning to meet soon, and also often(6months once)

but we are not in a rush of getting married..

1. I will be meeting him 2-3 times(travel to india)
Before getting married to him in 2023..

2. But we will chat of more than 4years to submit to IRCC by the time in applyfor sponsor in 2025.. will that not surface the requirement

3. also
We will be having a traditional weeding planned with presence of family.. will that not add on?

4. he is an IT employee, but he will not be sent on site for sure…

5. I will be 35yrs when i sponsor him and he will be 29… so it is an issue to IRCC

Our major points is chats history of 4years
Few trips together, and photos
Family wedding ceremony with certificate

Will this be sufficient for IRCC

pls do reply

If you have a chat history of 4 years you have been corresponding with him since your sponsorship application by your previous husband. If you got divorced in Feb 2022 when did you actually separate? If you were married for 8 years but were only sponsored in 2019 were you living together before getting sponsored? How long did you live together in Canada before separating? How long did you live together before getting sponsored? It is fairly unusual to have an older wife especially over 5 years when it comes to more traditional courting. When you meet 2-3 times how long will you spend together. Will you be going on trips together before marriage or after marriage?
