Please help assess my work experience

Hello,
I have worked for 3 years as a financial auditor (NOC 1111) and 2 years as a journalist (NOC code 5123).
Can i claim points for 3 years of workex, or 5?

you can claim for 5 (well 4 gives you the maximum number of points).
Is one of those on the ministerial list of 38 jobs. You'd need that if you are applying for FSW1

Yes, financial auditors are included in that list of 38. Journalists are not, so I wasnt sure whether workex as a journa qualifies for points.
