Dear All,

I am a confused situation. Below is my situation. Please suggest how to go with this.

I am got nominated by SINP in July 2020 and post nomination got ITA in EE and my PR application is in progress.
AOR - 4 sep
Medical passed - 13 Oct along with new Police Certificate request
New PC uploaded - Nov 20
No updates after that.

Now my company is planning to apply for Intra company transfer ICT closed work visa for its branch is Toronto, Ontario ie DIFFERENT PROVINCE.

I am not sure if applying for a WP for a different province is possible at this moment. If it is possible, will the WP will get approved or the WP will get rejected since I am a provincial nominee already?

Also do I need to inform SINP about this now like even before submitting the WP application or after WP approval?

Please shed some light if anybody has any idea about case.

Thank you.

The fact that you have applied under SINP won't impact the work permit being approved. However getting a work permit approved for Ontario may result in your SINP application being refused given this demonstrates you have an intent to settle outside of the province. If getting SINP approved is the priority, I would not move forward with the ICT.

Thank you dear for responding.

This gives some hope. Because I would prefer Ontario WP at this moment over SINP PR (i am primary applicant) application as I would be able to apply for Federal PR later based on my spouse who would be getting eligibility later in March.

Currently my spouse is working in SK based on which we do have Bridging open work permit which was approved but provided as open WP only for SK province as I am a provincial nominee of SK. This is what made me confused if a closed wp for a different province is acceptable and are there chances of it getting approved as I am sk nominee .

Worried that the new ICT WP application of different province going to be applied by my employer would get directly rejected as I am SK nominee where in a similar way my Open WP was issued just for SK province.

Thats why worried. ICT wp for different province is still possible right? They will process it irrespective of my SINP pnp pr application which is in progress right?

Also please advise when should I inform SINP about this new WP application?

Thank you!!
