Hi guys,

I applied for a study permit but my application was rejected because the officer thought I do not have enough funds and so I am intending to overstay in Canada.

My mistake was that I submitted only a bank statement which had enough funds but I did not show any proof of assets, however now on Sunday 13th July 2014, I will submit a new application and I will include my father's salary certificate and details of the land he owns back in Pakistan.

1)Is there any chance that now my mistake will be corrected?
2) Will I get the Permit before classes start on the 1st of September 2014?
3) Do I need to specify that my dad will sell or rent his assets in case he loses his job or does not have enough funds? My dad can afford to pay all the expenses semester by semester but HOW DO I LET THE OFFICER KNOW THIS?

Any help from experts or anyone would really be much appreciated

Thank you

lucky you .. i mean you got only one refusal reason

just focus on that one, write sop again ....hope this time they reply you quick.

by the way when you applied last time and what was the timeline. plz share

Make sense to apply again only if there is a "significant change" in your profile, not bank balance/assets.
