Your job duties is what counts, not your job title. Your job has to be a skilled job in category O,A,B to be eligible.
You can check http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=* to see if your job qualifies.
You should read up on NOC code to differentiate skilled from unskilled jobs as well.

See if that NOC matches your duties. This would be a NOC B job and eligible for CEC.
Those are a few I could find. See which duties are closest to yours.
The last one is NOT eligible for CEC.

>> http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Profile.aspx?val=1&val1=1251
>> http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Profile.aspx?val=1&val1=1252

!! NOT ELIGIBLE !! http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Profile.aspx?val=1&val1=1411 !!!

For CEC it should be skilled experience that is NOC 0,A or B
not sure what is your noc?
The first and or second digit of the noc defines whether it's:
0.-All the codes that start with a '0' are NOC 0 Ex: 0XXX
A.-All the codes that have '1' as their second digit come under NOC A. Ex: X1XX
B.-All the codes that have '2'or '3' as their second digit come under NOC B. Ex: X2XX or X3XX

it seems the noc codes for your job titles are
"Medical Office Assistant" 1414
"Medical Records Clerk" 1411
"Health Information Assistant"1411
"Health Records Clerk"1411
and they are not 0, A or B those job titles are not elegibles, do you have another NOC?

Don't go by the title, all that has to match are the duties. The title can be whatever.
The duties mentioned in the letter of reference has to match a NOC, not the title.
That's why I posted different eligible NOCs.

job title can be an issue if it is what is written on reference letters or work permit, if you can find another noc code and job title matching your duties ask your employer (if possible) to use that ones, but if you are using the ones originally posted, according to hrsdc doesn't qualify.
As Im tobby said 1243, 1251 1252 will be options if your supporting documents (Ref letters and or WP) can match them, thats why I asked if you have another noc codes

Job titles vary from employer to employer. So this is not causing any issues.
Make sure the NOC you mention in your application matches the duties in your letter of reference,
and if this NOC is skilled you're good to go. NOCs mentioned above are eligible so check the duties.

sorry, but i have to disagree with the job title thing, as I saw the application of a friend of mine returned because of that, maybe VO criteria, i don't know, maybe they just match job title to noc; you have to put job position and noc in your application, and if you go with that job titles and their noc its going to be returned. So yes, check for the other nocs codes and duties but make sure you can support them with ref letter and or work permits info

toby is right second digit (X2XX) noc b, that noc qualify for CEC if your job letters and or work permits support any of those codes go for it! (my friends refusal was based on no concordance between job title, noc and duties, so just make sure you can support it) by the way noc b just need CLB 5 for language requirements, while noc A needs CLB7

No problem Sam! I promise to be a little more cautious with the punctuation symbols. Hopefully you will support your application and we will see you on this "waiting list family"

Hi there, do you think if someody works as an administrative assistant in a medical clinic would still be considered 1241 and not 1243?
