Since m b.tech graduate in elctronics n applied for elct eng tech fast track course code 3222 of 2 years..i hav paid fees n applied for visa too..

Bt i want to change my course to elec eng tech co-of 3232 ..the nly dif b/w 2 courses is internship n lil fee dif..near about $300

nw if i got visa in 3222.is it posible to chnge it to 3232 n if pos wat is procedure for it?

It is possible to change the course after getting the VISA if the program is still available. There are many threads on this same topic here, infact you will find one on this first very page of the forum.

u can change d course surely only if seats are avialable .....!!!!!!!!!
and sometimes seat are vacant due to visa rejection ,shifting to other college or different course ,,etc..

Yes you can change your course after getting Visa if a seat is available for CAD 200

I guess you need to fill this Form

Yes, you can change your course. Since you intend to change at the same level of education, so there is no need to notify CIC.

I quote;

“If you are changing schools and/or your program of study but remain at the same level (e.g., secondary level), you do not need to modify your study permit.”

So it’s matter between you and your school (here, CIC has nothing to do). You need to fulfill admission requirement of ‘elec eng tech co-of 3232’. You should refer school/program website and check if you meet all admission requirement. In any case, you MUST apply before any set deadline, with a valid study permit + LOA and willingness to pay tuition fees. You should ask your school for exact procedure.

Whatever requirements are asked to be fulfilled by the college are to be followed and fees would be adjusted and transferred to your new course (if seat is still available). If it involves some charges then yes that has to be paid as well.

You need a valid LOA for January 2012 intake and that’s the most important thing, otherwise you shall miss this opportunity. As I said in my last post that it’s a matter between you and your school, so you should ask your school for the exact procedure. Each school has its own internal policy for such cases. I think you may need to fill up one or two forms and to pay some administrative charges.

You CAN apply for the renewal/extension of your study permit. It’s a simple process. You need to apply online at the ‘Case Processing Center’, Vegreville, Alberta. You MUST apply before the expiry of your study permit (normally 30 days before your study permit expires). Once you put off such application, you can CONTINUE to study your course until you get any result.
