Please guide me in applying for my visa

Once i have completed filling out the questionnaire for applying online visa (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/apply_online.asp), a personal checklist code was generated . What if I want to come back the next day and modify my answers, is it possible to work on the same or do i have to start again ?

Shudn't i be applying Temporary resident visa for my minor child using the IMM5257E.PDF? If so what would i be filling in the employment section (as it mandatory) to validate? Or should be I applying using some other PDF for my minor kids ?
