When we apply my wife to come to Canada we did the regular family class procedure. back in 2010 July. ( when I was still normal and healthy)
I came in with her in November 2010 while she is on tourist visa.
She landed finally last month used inbound landing. On the landing paper it stated my sponsorship is 3 years.

I am a Canadian citizen, my heath deteriorated and became jobless and started to receive ODSP from the beginning of this year, my question are:
1. Will that affect her PR status?
2. When I applied ODSP the officer filed me as single due to she was still on visitor visa at the moment. IS IT OK TO ADD HER IN THE BENEFIT NOW ?

Please help, I do not want to get her in any trouble.

I am not able to address your queries but wasn't sure if you applied for your wife while you were receiving ODSP. Reason for asking is that I notice someone said in another section that they were refused PR as the sponsor was on ODSP which I found odd as they say you are eligible if you get disability unlike social assistance.

Also did your ODSP benefit increase as a result of filing for your wife and she now l iving with you?

Sorry. You can ignore the last question as I realise you're asking if you should add your wife to the ODSP benefit? But the first question remains - see earlier post

ODSP has to be advised that you have a spouse and are living together as a married couple. Eventually it will show up on your tax returns, and one of the release forms you sign for ODSP allows CRA to give them a copy of your tax return or to get tax information from them.

My husband advised ODSP when we got married, and he was required to update his information when I landed, they checked every month with him until I arrived. I am listed as a dependent, as it was required that his case-worker do so. So far as she has been able to ascertain, this does not affect my status as a PR or his sponsor responsibilities. Recently we were contacted to find out whether I had registered for OHIP and to provide my health card number.

Talk to your case worker, and provide them with all the information they require, they will advise you what happens next.

I am still unsure as to whether ODSP benefit is increased once you have applied for PR residence or is it after PR approval is actually received and you've landed, provided of course they are notified of change in living arrangement. Could someone pls confirm which is it - upon application of PR or after landed documents received? Thanks

After you become a PR, not before.
