please demystify CIC agents' responses

Hey Folks,

Can someone decode two responses I got from two different agents:

I called a week ago CIC agent said the following:
They are working on your file and they are waiting for RCMP verification.

I called this morning CIC agent said the following:
They haven't started working on your file, I asked her it means my file is transferred to Vancouver office and they are doing nothing. She said I cannot confirm that.

Just for your information my ecas got updated a few weeks ago that my file has been transferred to Vancouver office on 30 December 2014. Any comments would be appreciated.
 
possibly the agent said not yet started working in local office...

next time ask if they local office has sent the test invite....they will then say the current status at local office..

The when the previous agent said they are working on my application, he was talking about Syndney not the local office? But based on Ecas my files is transferred to local office(Vancouver). I thought when all the process in Sydney is finished they will transfer it to the local office. Thanks again.
