please correct my SOP and tell me if there is more information to be added
I am S.Mohamed Irfan an aspirant in Software development field.I have been brought up all these years in Coimbatore city which is well known for its technologically based economy.I completed my high school and higher secondary with major in computer science from st.john bosco hr.sec school.Being interested in computers I chose bachelor of information technology from SNMV college of science ,Bharathiar university,Coimbatore,India and graduated in 2011. With a strong will to pursue my further studies overseas, I prepared for the IELTS examination and scored 8.5 in listening,7 in reading,6.5 in speaking and 6 in writing with an overall of 7 band.
During my tertiary education I have been much more fascinated by the programming languages which acts as a base for software development.I was so much interested in these languages that I got above 7 GPA in all the practicals with java programming of 8.9 gpa,web application development languages like HTML,XML and java scripts of 9.5gpa and software testing tools with 9.7 gpa.
To upgrade my profile, enhance my skill and set up my own firm in India I need a higher qualification and knowledge , which not only dilates my software skills but also my business skills.Through this I shall have a right pathway in my life. I am certain that my chosen course is right for me and i am sure that having this diploma would ensure a successful career back at home not only is it something that inspired me, but it is something that I have relevant experience in.
Besides academics I am interested in throwball and dancing. I have been in both school and college throwball team throughout my education and won district matches. I am also interested in dancing and have won many inter collegiate competitions.
During my counseling I was briefed about various destinations I chose Canada for it is a friendly place and a living lab for students and especially Centennial College is well known for its record of exemplary teaching, innovative programming and advanced programs. Centennial college provides excellent facilities which is ideal for me in pursuing my specialization, since it provides a unique mix of educational advantages. I am confident that I will live upto the high standards set by centennial college.
My career goal is to set up my own firm in India. India, with its recently opened economy, offers tremendous growth in this field and I have my belongingness deeply rooted to my motherland. The opted fast track program from Canada along with international exposure will give me enough skills and confidence to create a Great Organization back home and contribute to my country.
I am showing the sufficient funds to meet the College Tuition fee, travelling expenses and my living cost during my stay in Canada. I have enclosed those documents with my application. Please consider my request at earliest possible, so that I would meet my course in time and also find the necessary documents attached with this application.
