Thanks for your reply. It is not always possible to find a spouse from your own background and culture in Canada. Done that already. Maybe, my children will be lucky and Canada would be much more diverse by then. Unfortunately, many people who are born in Canada fail to understand that there are many subgroups in a specific regions and even within the same country. They speak many different languages within the same country. For example, In Afghanistan, there are two official languages, Pashto and Dari + 30 other languages. There 11+ ethnic groups in Afghanistan. This include Pashtuns, Tajiks, Hazaras, Uzbeks, Aimaks, Turkmen, Baloch, Pashayi, Nuristani, Pamiris, Arabs, Sikhs etc. Plus, Afghanistan is not a desert. It has places like Alberta and BC. Its snows in Afghanistan. There are avalanches in Afghanistan and Ski resorts being built. For more info, please see wikepedia. Also, Afghanistan is not in middle east. It is located in Central and South Asia. Plus, the Afghan government is making great effort not to lose its doctors, engineers, teachers, etc to countries like Canada, US, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Sweden Gremany, Norway etc. Many Canadian also fail to understand that many immigrants are doing jobs that Canadian born would not do all their life. I had so many Canadian born coworkers who worked with me for a month or two and decided it is not for them and quit. Plus many Canadian born don’t appreciate Canada as much as we do because we have to work so hard for it every step. We were not given these privileges just because we were born here.
