Later, in this February received LMO Confirmation copy and finallly few days back received CIC APPROVAL COPY. I completed medical on July. But still confuse about the legality. Is it a legal process. CIC approval letter was like:

APPROVAL/IMPORTANT ADVICE ABOUT WORK PERMIT
We have approved your application to work in Canada, and have sent our decision to the Canadian
Port of Entry, You may now travel to Canada after January, 2016 with your passport or travel
documents (US citizens do not require a passport but must provide proof of citizenship). CIC will
contact to you directly for further procedure.
When you arrive at a Canadian port of entry (air, sea port, or land crossing) you will inform the
examining officer of the purpose of your entry to Canada, and you will show this letter. The
examining officer will review the information previously transmitted by this office, and will issue
you the required work permit,
Please understand that the examining officer is vested with the final authority concerning your
entry to Canada.
Accompanying family members are not authorized by virtue of your work permit to work or to
study in Canada. If a family member does desire to study or take up employment, he or she must
apply for the appropriate permit. Please see ****** for further information.
Generally, Canadian provincial health benefits arc not extended to temporary residents, including
workers and students. You should inquire with your employer regarding the availability of private
health insurance.
THIS LETTER IS NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL AND IS NOT A PERMIT ALLOWING
YOU TO REMAIN IN CANADA.

Hi Lammawitch,
I did not send the application, rather my employer sent it from Quebec.
An employer applies for the LMIA. *You* apply for your work permit.

From the information you have given, your situation sounds strange. What documents did you provide/sign for your work permit application? Did you apply for and obtain a CAQ, or is the job exempt?
